National Mental Health Month

May is National Mental Health Month. According to the National Alliance of Mental Illness, 20% of youth ages 13-18 live with a mental health condition and one in every five adults in America experience a mental illness. Mental health affects everyone regardless of socioeconomic status, culture, ethnicity, gender or sexual orientation; yet fewer than 60% of adults and 50% of youth receive mental health services.
