How to Access eBooks and eAudiobooks

Your Lyons Regional Library card gives you access to eBooks and eAudiobooks from two platforms: Libby and Hoopla.

Both platforms have apps available for smartphones and tablets as well as computers.

YOUR LIBRARY CARD ID IS: 212550000xxxxx.
(Replace the XXXXX with your numbers.)

YOUR PASSWORD/PIN IS YOUR LAST NAME IN lowercase LETTERS.

Getting connected after you install the app

FOR FIRST-TIME USERS

  1. Launch the app.
  2. Answer “Yes” to the question “Do you have a library card?”
  3. Tap “I’ll Search For a Library”.
  4. Enter “lyons” in search box.
  5. Tap “Across Colorado Digital Consortium”.
  6. Tap Lyons Regional Library.
  7. Enter your card number.
  8. Tap Next.
  9. Enter your last name in lowercase.
  10. (optional) Tap Rename Card.
  11. Tap Next.

ADDING YOUR CARD IF YOU ALREADY USE LIBBY

  1. Launch the app.
  2. Tap the circular icon in the top right corner.
  3. Tap See Library Cards.
  4. Tap Add a Library.
  5. Enter “lyons” in the search box.
  6. Tap “Across Colorado Digital Consortium” in the results list.
  7. Enter your card  number.
  8. Tap next.
  9. Enter your last name in lowercase.
  10. (optional) Tap Rename Card.
  11. Tap Next.

Kindle users: If the item you are borrowing is available in a Kindle format, you will have the option to “Read with Kindle”.

Getting connected after you install the app

FOR FIRST-TIME USERS

  1. Launch the app.
  2. Click on ‘Get Started’.
  3. Click on ‘Let’s Go’
  4. Find Lyons Library. If your location services are enabled, you should see Lyons Community Library at the top of the list. If it doesn’t automatically appear, enter ‘80540’ and select Lyons Community Library (CO) and click ‘Next’.
  5. Enter your full library card number and click ‘Next’. Scroll through the Terms of Service and click ‘Accept’.
  6. Enter an email address and password of your choice. This is how you will log in going forward.
  7. Start browsing!
