Speaking of congrats, major congratulations are due to our Library Board President Kathleen Crane, who was named Outstanding Trustee of the Year by the Colorado Association of Libraries. This is a very competitive state-wide award which brings honor and recognition to Kathleen and also to our tiny but powerful, “can-do” District. The award specifically references her continuous efforts to build a new District and a new facility at the same time, all in the midst of flood recovery, and Kathleen’s inspiring, warm-hearted and generous leadership style and extraordinary team-building skills. Kathleen will receive her award at the Colorado Association of Libraries Conference Awards Luncheon on Friday, Sept. 14, from 11:30-1:00pm. The event takes place at the Embassy Suites in Loveland. Kudos, Kathleen!
