September will bring new faces to the Lyons Regional Library District team, in addition to familiar faces in new roles. As of September 1, 2019, Assistant Director Kara Bauman will be stepping up into the role of Library Director. New Director Appointed

Rebecca Schuh appointed new Lyons Library Director (Posted January 26, 2019) The Board of Trustees of the Lyons Regional Library District announces the appointment of Rebecca Schuh as our new Director of the Lyons Regional Library. The Board was particularly impressed by the depth and breadth of Rebecca’s experience, which includes significant work in strategic planning, building community partnerships, administration, reference, finance, project management, patron services, programming, and human resources management. She has been with the Campbell County Public Library system (Gillette, WY) for the past 11 years, and before that was with the Rapid City Public Library. A shout out to a wonderful member of our community, Patricia McGrane. Patricia couldn’t make it to the Taste of Lyons-Hazel Miller event due to being out of town, so she went ahead and bought tickets for two other couples who otherwise would not have been able to attend.
