The Lyons Community Library curates a high quality, diverse, and engaging program lineup that resonates with our community’s preferences and aligns with our mission. On occasion, we partner with members of our community and beyond who are experts in a given area. If you have a program idea that you would like to submit for consideration, please fill out our program proposal below. We consider all submissions, and make selections based on various factors, including the needs and interests of our patrons, budget considerations, availability of space, presenter’s level and area of expertise, and staff resources.
Though we cannot accommodate all proposals, library meeting rooms are available for public use. Patrons who reserve rooms are expected to familiarize themselves and agree to the library’s Meeting Space Policy. They will be responsible for all aspects of their event or meeting, including set-up, take-down, planning and any necessary advertising. If this sounds more aligned with your needs, reserve a room for a self-sponsored event or program.
If you would still like to propose a library-sponsored event, we look forward to hearing from you!
